Have you ever played Chinese Whispers? The concept of the game is pretty simple; a group of people stand in a line, and the first person whispers a message to the person next to them, who whispers it to the person next to them, and so on. When the last person receives the message, they repeat what they’ve heard to all the group – usually to much amusement! You can see how easy it is for a simple message to get changed as it’s passed from person to person.
Is this what happened with the Bible? The answers to this question and many others concerning the validity of the Bible can be found in the linked PDF below.

It has come to our attention that during the Carols by Glowstick event on December 14, postcards were left on the windscreens of a number of guests’ cars in the Cornerstone College car park. These cards were anonymous, with no identification as to the name of the group responsible, but we are aware that they were left by members of a Mount Barker religious group who were trespassing on the property.
We recommend against following the web links or responding to the email address on the postcards.
Please be assured that postcards were not placed by Trinity Mount Barker, nor would we interfere with anyone’s car parked during an event.
Trinity Mount Barker apologises for any confusion or distress the members of this religious group have caused our guests at Carols by Glowstick, and we will do our best to ensure that advertising of this kind is prevented at future events.
Thanks to all our guests for helping make Saturday night such a wonderful event, and we look forward to seeing you at Carols by Glowstick 2014!
The Trinity Mount Barker team
Trinity Mount Barker is moving! And we'd love you to join us!
From February 22nd, Sunday services will be held at 10 AM, at Cornerstone College, Adelaide Road, Mount Barker.
Littlehampton Primary School has served us well for our first five years, but with the opening of the new middle school building at Cornerstone, we have the opportunity to consolidate our two Sunday morning gatherings into a single 10 AM gathering. The downstairs common learning area, and classrooms opening off it (see pictures below) will allow us to seat up to 300 people.
If you've been wondering about church, God, or the Christian faith,
now is a great time to step into a new community and find some answers to your questions.
Those in our children's ministry will notice some of the most significant changes. Both Creche and Kids' Church will run upstairs in the same building as the main gathering; no more going outside in the rain! Kids' Church programs will have access to a number of different classrooms and learning spaces, with plenty of room for kids to read, sing, play, create, listen, learn, and grow. Opening directly off the main entrance will be a cry room for parents with babies.
The middle school building is the first building on your left when entering the college from Adelaide Road. There are a number of car parks immediately in front, for those with disabilities, parents with young children, and others who require close access. There is plenty of additional parking by the roundabout, or in any of the other college car parks.
You can put the date in your online calendar with just a click!
God has been busy at Trinity Mount Barker and in our region in the way that He has provided opportunity for Two New Beginnings in the life of our church. If you missed the update Clayton provided, you can download a copy of what he said here.
An electronic copy of the Two New Beginnings document is also available below.
We're asking each member of the Body of Christ at TMB to consider what they're able to give to the work of the gospel here and to begin that pattern of giving. Partnership in the Gospel through your financial support enables our ministries and work at TMB to encourage and equip our church community, and also for the rapid spread of the Gospel to people in our region.
If you are one of Christ's people at TMB, please do take time to read this important document and prayerfully consider your part in this work.
